Nottm Police Community Tournament

On Saturday 21 May 2022 The Pythian Club entered the Nottinghamshire Police Community Tournament.

We entered four teams, including three from our Foundation Team and one from our U15's.

We got through the group stages with ease and we managed to get to the semi-finals. Falling short to the eventual winners.

However with the way the lads conducted themselves we managed to get through on our sportsmanship award.

We will be taking our team to London on July 10.

We support these events as it’s another opportunity for young people to link up with others on the football field instead of the streets. Build respect and breakdown little differences on the pitch with tekkers or goals.

Shake hands and grab your water and be cool.

Football and sport brings people together so long May it continue.

This was also sponsored by Darren Surgey from Project Lunar Interiors.
