Community FUNday Fundraiser

When a community member and avid supporter of The Pythian Club, Emma Johnson offers to run a FUNday, there is one guarantee…. a FUN time will be had by all.

With a team of helpers at the ready, the day included a bouncy castle, face painting, a cake stall, raffles and stall holders galore plus an opportunity to try out some of the Club’s multi-sports activities ensuring the Community Centre and garden were alive and buzzing.

Ben Rosser, CEO of The Pythian Club said: “As an organisation, we are incredible grateful to Emma and her team for all their fundraising efforts and bringing such a fun day to life.

“A huge shout out to all those attendees from Heathfield and the surrounding communities, who joined in all the fun. Emma’s event raised a fabulous c.£380 which we will use towards purchasing sports equipment, upkeep of the Centre and the Club’s community garden, the Secret Garden.

“Big thanks too to all the Pythian Young Leaders and staff who helped run activities, give away bicycles and generally support the event.”
