Community support

During one of The Pythian Club’s Bulwell Consortium discussions earlier this year it was flagged to us that an employee of one of the local stores had been assaulted by a group of young people.

Over the subsequent weeks our outreach team increased patrols around that store at the time of day assault happened, they engaged with the young people that were hanging around there.

We have since been advised that the young people are no longer loitering around that location and all stores in that area have reported to us that there has been no anti-social behaviour in for over six weeks.

This is a great example of our partnership working and listening to concerns that the local community have identified.

By supporting both the young people and business owners/ employees of the area we are able to make a positive impact on everyone’s lives.
