ALL welcome (U18s to be accompanied by a
responsible adult)
WHEN: Wednesdays, term-time only**
TIME: 10.00 am - 12.00 pm
WHERE: Heathfield Community Centre, 7A Ventnor Rise, NG35 1HR
COST: FREE
*NOTE: there will be NO sessions on 3 and 10 April.
Green Space Provider
As a nature-based, community activity project, The Secret Garden is delighted to support Green Social Prescribing.
Green Social Prescribing refers people to local nature-based help to support those who are least able to connect with nature, because of where they live, their income or other barriers they may face.
TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE GARDEN
Up until 2020, the area adjacent to the Heathfield Community Centre was a wasteland which with the help of the community was converted into the wonderful The Secret Garden, a welcoming, community-led garden for all to enjoy. Through this beautiful green space, we spread the importance of sustainability and promote the healing nature of gardening through crafts and well-being activities.
You, your family and/or those you care for can come together each week in this safe space and get involved in activities during our weekly session; from planting, crafting, garden maintenance, and construction to mindfulness and more, you’re sure to find something to fill your soul.
All sessions require pre-booking (see below) and are open to all irrespective of age or ability, with a requirement for any under 18s to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Note:
Cancellation - Many session are oversubscribed. Should you wish to cancel a booking, please do so as soon as possible to ensure the space becomes available for another attendee to enjoy the session.
